In 2016 the author suffered the heartbreaking loss of her mother to cancer. During her mother's battle, Shannon asked her mom to leave dimes upon crossing over as a message to let her know she was still near.

Following her mom's passing, a series of unbelievable and unexplainable events began occurring; confounding, surprising, and--when most needed--comforting Shannon and those close to her. 

Conveying these miraculous happenings brings smiles, laughter and a sense of hope to many who hear them.  Lives are touched and changed as more and more people begin sharing their own dime messages.

My Mom - Always By My Side…

This book is written to share my story and my belief in life everlasting.

My hope is to bring some peace and comfort to others like myself who have lost loved ones, and to send a wonderful message to anyone who may fear death. 

Afterlife-affirming occurrences have happened to me and alleviated my experiences of deep sadness and grief. Sharing these inexplicable events with family and friends has brought fun, laughter, and a sense of wonder into my life.  Bit by bit, my overwhelming sadness and loss have been washed away.

By nature, I am somewhat of an introvert, yet I reach out to share my story every day. Spontaneous conversations just seem to happen while I'm out shopping, picking up the mail, waiting in lineups, and even at the airport.  I find myself confidently, and randomly, talking to complete strangers about what I've experienced. 

After hearing my story, many people want to give me a hug, or clasp my hands tightly and thank me.   This gratitude makes my heart sing. 

I have received calls and pictures from friends, both old and new, relaying similar stories. Others are having and sharing their own surreal experiences.  The joyous movement of these true stories is having a domino effect.

While sitting and reflecting how amazing it is witnessing lives being touched in such positive ways, I found myself wishing I could give that hope to more people who are experiencing deep sadness from the loss of a loved one.  

Have you ever noticed that seemingly inconsequential events, or chance meetings, turn out to be the catalyst for huge effects in your life?  My own experience has led me to believe that every event, or encounter, could happen for a reason.  

Out of nowhere, I was overcome with a very strong calling to write a book. This idea took on a life of its own, like I was being guided by something powerful that was pushing and compelling me to go forward.

Somehow, through some chain of events, you are now here reading my musings.  How did this happen? Were YOU possibly guided to find my story? 

Everything within this book is a compilation of my true experiences.  Some of the people mentioned throughout the book have passed on.  I could not ask their permission, so their names have been changed to respect and protect their privacy.  

To everyone who has encouraged, supported, and assisted in bringing forth this message to life, I send my heartfelt love and gratitude. THANK YOU. 

Most importantly, I want to thank my Mom for taking me on this uplifting journey.
